With California, Optos has incorporated new hardware and software technology enabling practitioners to see more, discover more and effectively treat more ocular pathology thus promoting patient health. Solo™ is engineered to be faster and more precise. The system’s proprietary cavity facilitates effective heat transfer and cooling to deliver the industry’s fastest SLT firing rate at 3 shots per second. In addition, an automatic calibration process and a series of test-fire sequences uses feedback from the system’s energy monitor in order to constantly adjust system output, enabling precise adjustment of parameter settings at 0.1 mJ increments.

The Lang Fixation Cubes have been designed by J. Lang for the assessment of eye fixation, motility, accommodation, convergence, for cover test, and to prepare the child for testing with the Lang-Stereotest® or the Lang-Stereopad®.
5 child-friendly objects are presented on the side and the top of the cube. Some of them are also included in the two versions of the Lang-Stereotest® and of the Lang-Stereopad®, and on the Lang Fixation stick.
The Cube has a white handle.
Each turn of the cube shows a new object. The star on the top side and the other objects can also be used for the test of convergence.

The Sheridan-Gardiner Test contains both near vision and distance vision tests according to the Faculty of Ophthalmologists and Snellen Standards. This Test also includes a reduced Snellen Test. Testing depends on matching shapes rather than identifying or naming letters. All are reversible. The Sheridan Gardiner Test is primarily designed for children but is also usable for deaf mute or other patients unable to interact with traditional letter based visual acuity tests. Results are more reliable than illiterate E or similar tests. A series of orthoptic booklets in washable plastic finish are included with the basic kit to augment the range of letters in each size. -
