For decades, OCULUS binocular loupes have been a tried and tested system worldwide for precision work in many fields, such as medicine, art, research, technology and many others. These magnifying loupes are ideal for low vision patients to improve the quality of life. They make stereoscopic near vision possible and provide a high rate of mobility.
Thanks to the continuous further development of these powerful binocular loupes, a complete system offering the following features is now available:
    • The high-quality OCULUS optic ensures bright images, true-color and depth of field.
    • The large diameter exit pupil makes binocular adjustment easy for optimal vision.
    • The low weight and the ergonomically designed system carriers prevent strain, even for longer periods of wear.
    • The ability to adjust the pupil distance and change the angle of convergence allows optimal adaptation to the wearer’s individual needs.
    • For room orientation purposes, the magnifying lenses can be flipped up, without having to change the system settings.
    • A clear view through the metal frame is maintained.
    • Corrective or protective lenses can be inserted into the metal frame.
    • Optimal near vision adapters enable wearers to use standard multi-focal lenses. The modular concept of the 1.8x binocular loupe allows optics with other magnifications to be mounted quickly and easily, for flexible adjustment to changing requirements.
  • Page MagnifierPage Magnifier
The DM-21 Page Magnifier from Carson Optical is a deluxe rigid frame full page magnifier. It’s 2x power acrylic fresnel lens is sturdy and shatterproof. The Page Magnifier is perfect for reading large areas of small print such as maps, newspapers, directories, recipes and more. Simply hold the Page Magnifier 4 inches above the reading material for a clear view. The Page Magnifier is so thin you can store it in your reading material after use.
  • Lea Grating Acuity Test
This test can be used with infants, children and adults with low cognitive abilities when communication difficulties prohibit the use of optotype tests to measure visual acuity. This test measures an individual's ability to detect the presence of parallel lines of decreasing width to provide information about the function of some parts of visual pathways. Item #: GF1300
  • Binocular Accommodative Saccadic SeriesBinocular Accommodative Saccadic Series
The BASS-PL series is a highly sensitive measure of the relationship between Binocular alignment (fixation disparity) and Accommodative function (clarity) during a Series (stamina) of cognitively loaded Saccadic eye movement. This series is designed to be a more dynamic measure of binocular/accommodative function during a saccadic eye movement task by involving a sequence of saccadic indentification targets at two acuity levels; 20/100 & 20/63. Complete system includes: therapy binder and pen, pair of polarized viewers, instruction manual, set of 20/100 target and vectographs and a set of 20/63 target and vectographs. Item #: BASSPL+
  • Optokinetic Drum Ped 10 1/2' H x 8" Diameter Accurately test for acuity when rotated 8 to 10 RPMs at different reading distance. 10" long x 8" diameter Has Animals and Shapes Item #: DAL301
  • ETDRS Chart 1
Adult LEA NUMBERS® chart for ETDRS Illuminated light boxes. Fits all existing ETDRS cabinets including both the ESV3000 and ESC2000. LEA NUMBERS® ETDRS chart contains optotypes in proportionally spaced (logMAR) lines; lines range from 20/200 to 20/8 (6/60 to 6/2.4) equivalent, 0.10 to 2.50. Fits in ESV3000 ETDRS illuminated cabinet.
  • Lea Symbols Single Symbol Book
The Single Symbol Book is ideal for people who cannot perform when tested with a line test. This book can help determine the best resolution of the visual pathway in a child/adult with amblyopia or impaired vision. Single optotype line sizes from 20/200 to 20/8 (6/60 to 6/2.4) equivalent.
  • Soft Training Ball (VTE) - with Figures
Ball with 60 children's figures. Each ball includes plastic adhesive hook for hanging up.
  • AccuPen Handheld Applanation TonometerAccuPen Handheld Applanation Tonometer
Busy facilities deserve and instrument that will come through in the clutch, which is why Accutome is proud to offer the AccuPen and AccuPen Vet handheld tonometers for patient IOP screening. Our AccuPen line is accurate, easy-to-use, portable, and versatile making it an industry must-have for IOP screening. The AccuPen Vet features our latest One tap - One Reading Gravity Offset Technology which provides accurate IOP measurements with less calibration in any testing position.
  • The Lang-Stereopad® is a new device for testing global near stereopsis. It is suitable for all age groups, including preverbal children (less than 1 year). This stereo test does not require the use of special glasses because of the combination of random dots with a lenticular screen, similarly to the the Lang-Stereotests® I-R and II.
